THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF JOSE CORREA
WATERBURY - Jose Correa age 60 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on his birthday, August 21, 2021 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Annette (Kuilan) Correa.
Jose was born in Cayey Puerto Rico, the son of Gloria (Flores) Rivera and Sergio Correa. He was raised in the New York and CT area and was a man of many talents. He enjoyed fixing and repairing cars, especially classic cars and was always willing to help anyone, friend or stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, besides his parents, are his son, Jose Omar Correa of FL, his daughter, Marilyn Razek and her husband, Tarik of Old Forge NY, his stepfather, Luis Vergeli Sr and his brother, Luis Vergeli Jr of Meriden. He also leaves three grandchildren, Eamon, Leila, Sahara and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Correa will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 12 noon at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the Correa family on Friday morning from 10:00am till the service at noon. We remain concerned about COVID # 19 so masks and social distancing will be required for all participants indoors.
