BRISTOL - Joseph A. Scarzella III age 33, of Bristol formerly of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 25th after sustaining injuries in a motor vehicle accident.
Joe was born June 13th 1986 in Waterbury, CT the son of Joseph A. and Denise (Greatorex) Scarzella Jr. He graduated from Wilby High School and was a graduate of Porter and Chester Institute as an electrician and has spent the past several years working for PTE. There was nothing more important to Joseph than his son, Jiovanni and he always looked forward to riding dirt bikes and quads together. Joe was always the life of any party and will be remembered for his outgoing personality and ability to make people smile.
Left to remember, cherish and honor Joe's love and legacy are his fiancé, Joan Sears of Bristol, his son Jiovanni A. Scarzella of Bristol, his parents; Joseph and Denise Scarzella of Waterbury, his brother, Donald Scarzella and his fiancé, Laura Rinaldi of Waterbury, his sister, Nicole Lubus and her husband, Leonard of Waterbury, his grandfather; Joseph Scarzella Sr. of Waterbury; as well as many aunts, uncles, other extended family members and many friends.
Due to the current governmental restrictions regarding the pandemic, a Memorial Service for Joseph, for immediate family members only, in accordance with state requirements, will be permitted in the funeral home on Monday June 1st 2020. Other relatives and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Monday, June 1, 2020 beginning at 12:30 pm for an outdoor visitation honoring Mr. Scarzella. All attendees should remain in their vehicle until instructed by funeral home staff. Social distancing protocols will be strictly enforced.
