AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME- Josephine (Bartone) Mango age 86 of Ice House Road, died Monday at Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Dominic Mango.

Josephine was born December 17, 1922 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (Melillo) Bartone and was a lifelong Oakville resident. She was a graduate of Oakville and Watertown Schools. Prior to her retirement in 1984, she was employed at Tech-Systems in Thomaston, she had also worked at Autowire/Winchester Electronics. Josephine was an avid gardener who loved to crochet and was a communicant of Saint Mary Magdalen Church.

She leaves a daughter Donna M. Gelinas and her husband Paul of Oakville, a son Francis D. Mango and daughter in law Charlene Innes, both of Oakville, four grandchildren; Dominic, Jillian, Brittany and Shaunna Mango, two sisters, Mary Sgrillo and her husband Rick of Lakeland, FL., Nancy Nardi of Bradenton, FL., two brothers Nick Bartone and his wife Florence of Oakville and Tony Bartone and his longtime companion Joyce of Austin, TX., several nieces and nephews and her little dog Thomas. She was predeceased by two brothers Jerry and Anthony Bartone and two sisters Theresa Pietrorazio and Angeline Ditillo.

Funeral Thursday at 8 a.m. from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street to Saint Mary Magdalen Church for Mass at 9. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
