AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME - Josephine (Puckorius) Satkauskas age 86 formerly of Parkman Street died December 3, 2009 at Grove Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Waterbury. She was the widow of Antanas Satkauskas.
Josephine was born June 22, 1923 in Lithuania, a daughter of the late Justin and Josephine Puckorius and came to the United States in the late 1940's. She was an Oakville resident for over 55 years and was a communicant of Saint Mary Magdalen Church. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Hemingway Bartlett. Josephine was a member of the Lithuanian Girl Scouts Association in Waterbury where she was a Scout Leader and was a member of the Lithuanian Women's Club.
She leaves a daughter Irene Coppola and her husband Salvatore of Watertown, Regina "Donna" Marinelli and her husband Ronald of Woburn, Mass., four sisters and a brother all of Lithuania, four grandchildren Sara and Matt Coppola of Watertown, Anthony and Kaitlyn Marinelli both of Woburn, Mass. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street. Burial will follow in Lithuanian Cemetery in Waterbury.
