AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME: JOYCE JOSEPHINE (RIMKIE) GRABOWSKI age 88 of Buckingham St. Oakville died October 28, 2008 at Abbott Terrace Health Center after a brief illness. She was the widow of Joseph Grabowski, her husband of 67 years before his passing in 2006.
Joyce was born June 13, 1920 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Levincuite) Rimkis and lived in Oakville most of her life. She was educated in Watertown Schools. Prior to her retirement in 1982, she was employed as an assembler at the Siemon Company where she worked for many years. She was a communicant of Saint Mary Magdalen Church.
She leaves a son Robert Grabowski and his wife Cheryl of Oakville with whom she made her home and who were her constant caregivers, a granddaughter Maria, two grandsons Jason and Brian, three great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Edward Grabowski, two brothers and seven sisters.
