CLEARWATER FL Mrs. Joyce C. (Kingsley)(Sundell) Siddall, age 78, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Waterbury, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Manor Care in Palm Harbor, FL.
Mrs. Siddall was born May 20,1938 in Harwinton, CT to the late James F. and Claire (Hartnett) Kingsley. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and received her Nursing Diploma from New Britain General Hospital Nursing Program in 1973. She worked at Waterbury Hospital for 15 years until moving to Florida in 1987. She continued her nursing at The Homestead in Largo, FL until her retirement in 2001.
Among her survivors are her 6 children; John Sundell of San Antonio, TX, Kathleen Ackerman of St. Petersburg, FL, Richard (Linda) Sundell of Spring Hill, FL, Eileen (Robert) Eggleton of Waterbury, CT, Loreen Grimshaw of Clearwater, FL, and Colleen Sundell of Madeira Beach, FL; a brother, James (Jane) Kingsley of Madison, CT, an aunt, Lucille (Hartnett) Rogers of Syracuse, NY; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Siddall is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon D. Siddall and her son. Robert T. Sundell.
Funeral services for Mrs. Siddall will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St.@ Southmayd Rd Waterbury . Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. To honor Joyce's memory and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA at: secure.ASPCA.org.
