WATERBURY - Mrs. Juanita Maldonado, age 93 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on April 20th 2016 at Autumn Lake Health Care Center of Waterbury after an extended illness. She was the widow of Benigno Maldonado.
Juanita was born April 27th 1922 in Adjuntas Puerto Rico and dedicated her life to her children and family. She was a devoted Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart "Sagrado Corazon" Church in Waterbury.
Among her survivors are her children, Adam Maldonado, and Vilma Maldonado Vega and her husband, Mike as well as many grandchildren great grandchildren and extended family and friends. Thanks to the nurses and aides at Autumn Lake Health Care for taking care of her.
Funeral services for Mrs. Maldonado will be held on Monday April 25th 2016 at 9:30 am at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home to Sacred Heart, Sagrado Corazon Church Wolcott, St. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Rites of Committal will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury.
