WATERTOWN - Judith H. (Hearn) Korngiebel, age 73, of Watertown died September 11, 2014 in the VITAS Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital. She was the widow of Frederick W. Korngiebel.
Judy was born February 20, 1941 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Ryan) Hearn and was a lifelong resident of Watertown. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury. Prior to her retirement, Judy was a hairdresser at Ann's Beauty Salon in Watertown and Middle Quarter Hair Designers in Woodbury. She was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Church.
She leaves two sons Frederick W. Korngiebel III of Watertown, David L. Korngiebel and his wife Lori of Southington, a daughter Kelly Korngiebel-Early and her husband Mike of Oakville, two sisters Rosanne Coffey of Watertown and MaryLou Fenn and her husband George of Watertown, eight grandchildren Andrew, David Ryan, Matthew, Shannon, Nathan, Kaylie, Austin and Devin, a great-granddaughter Jenna, a sister-in-law Nancy Largay of Watertown and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Saturday September 20, 2014 directly at Saint John the Evangelist Church to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
