WATERBURY CT. Mrs. Julia (Tora) Drainville age 94 of Baldwin St Waterbury, died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Leo Drainville who passed away in 1986.
Julia was born in Waterbury on January 8, 1916, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mamolla) Tora. She was educated in local schools and was a loving wife and mother. Julia was a member of the South Waterbury Seniors and a longtime parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church.
Julia is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Drainville with whom she made her home and several nieces and nephews including Barbara Fiorente and Raymond Drainville with whom she was especially close. She also leaves her son-in-law Gary Wisausky and his wife Maddy. Julia was predeceased by her daughter, Ann Wisausky.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Drainville will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 9:30am from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St. Waterbury to St. Francis Xavier Church 625 Baldwin St. Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 8:00am until 9:30.
