WATERBURY - Justyn Lamont Swain, age 32 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Justyn was born on November 12, 1988 in Waterbury the son of James and Loray (Young Swain. He was educated in local schools and was employed at Key Human Services in Wolcott. He was an avid and enthusiastic fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, especially Kobe Bryant. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory besides his parents are his two daughters; Jayla N. Swain of Hampton VA and Analiese Brown of Danbury, three brothers; Cyrill Young, James Swain both of Waterbury and Marcus (Heidi) Swain of Bristol as well as his companion, Ariel Coghill. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Justyn was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, James and Rosie Lee Swain, his maternal grandparents, Jacqueline Young and John Levett and his niece, Nevaeh Loray Swain.
Funeral services for Mr. Swain will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT 06705. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. Relatives and friends may visit with the Swain family on Saturday from noon till the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Until the greater Waterbury area reaches a 70% threshold of vaccinated population, those visiting the funeral home are requested to remain masked while inside or attending services.
