WATERBURY-Mrs. Karen Kreidel VanLierop age 43 of Waterbury passed away at Waterbury Hospital on Monday September 29th after a brief illness. She was the wife of Eric Vanlierop.
Karen was born October 7th 1970 in Waterbury, Ct the daughter of Richard Kreidel II and the late Barbara (Breen) Kreidel. She grew up in Wolcott where she attended local schools. She was an avid reader and was always happiest while spending time with her family.
Besides her husband Eric of 12 years and her father Richard, Karen is survived by her two children Joseph Kreidel and Chloe VanLierop both of Waterbury her brothers Edward Lane and Richard Kreidel and his wife Amy of Waterbury. Her sisters Debra Cullen and her husband Ray of Watertown, Elizabeth Gorman and her husband Michael of Prospect, and Carolyn Lane of Waterbury as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. VanLierop will be held on Friday October 3rd 2014 at 9:45 am at Eastside Memorial, "A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. . Relatives and friends may visit with Karen's family on Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of the services.
