WATERBURY- Mrs. Katherine (Sutton) Hoffler, age 70, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 03, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Gilbert Hoffler for 52 years.
Katherine was born in Sunbury, North Carolina, on April 03, 1952, to the late John and Evelyn (Lassiter) Sutton. Following school, she went on to work as a factory worker. Katherine loved to spend time with her family, they took road trips frequently when her children were growing up. She loved to travel and watched General Hospital daily. Katherine was an active member of the Zion Baptist Church in Waterbury. She will be missed by all those who were blessed to love and know her.
Left to cherish her memory and honor her legacy along with her husband, Gilbert, are their children; Gilbert Hoffler Jr., and Valerie Hoffler, grandchildren; Tazmann Crawford, Tory Crawford, Destiny Hoffler, Leshawn Crawford and Brandon Hoffler, great grandchildren; Norae Lael Drandridge, Drake Drandridge Jr., Javion Crawford, Jayden Crawford, Naylei Crawford, and Nova Mitchell. Two sisters; Vernice Sutton-Ashlock, and Linda Sutton, nieces and nephews; Fernando Ashlock, Leondas Brickhouse, Jennifer Harris Littles, Maronda Sutton, and Dalton Sutton, along with several extended family members.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hoffler will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Casey’s Eastside Memorial. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may visit with the Hoffler family on Monday, December 12, 2022, from 12:00 to the time the service begins at 2:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street @ Southmayd Road in Waterbury, CT, 06705.
