Mr. Kenneth R. Brown

MERIDEN -Kenneth Brown age 60 of Meriden, formerly of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday June 9, 2022, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Lilly (Patterson) Brown.

Ken was born December 11th 1961 in Charleston South Carolina, the son of the late Joseph and Joann (Smalls) Brown. Ken was raised in the Manhattan NY area where he attended local schools and moved to CT in the late 1980. Ken worked as a wheelchair van driver for Trinity Health Care, formerly Campion Ambulance and more recently was working as a bus driver the CT Transit. Ken was a loving family man who was always happiest while spending time with his children and family. He loved to watch ESPN and especially liked basketball and NY Giants Football. Ken also loved to cook for his family and during any spare time he had. he liked to go to the gym.

Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy, besides wife of 27 years, Lily, he leaves his son; Ronald Brown of Meriden, daughter, Rhonda Brown of Meriden, his sister, Terry Brown of Brooklyn, NYm his sister-in-law, Jennifer Agosto of Waterbury, his nephew, Jaquan Brown and niece, Jakima Brown both of Brooklyn, NY

Services for Mr. Brown will be held on Friday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care,1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Ken’s family on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Loving-kindness is always welcome, and it only takes a moment to offer a message of condolence, words of comfort, or share a memory with the family and friends of someone important to you.
