Beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather
WATERBURY– Kevin Thomas O’Donnell, age 67 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at home.
Kevin was born October 17th, 1956 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Neill and Mary J. (Griffin) O’Donnell. He attended local schools and spent many years working as a truck driver for Sunbeam Bakery and more recently served as a maintenance man for Toddler Town Daycare and Easter Seals. There were a few things Kevin truly enjoyed in life; his F-150 truck, his passion for food and he always looked forward to a good Nardelli’s grinder. He also enjoyed cooking and sharing a meal with his family and they affectionately gave him the nickname, “Kevy Crocker” for his ability to make great meals and he certainly enjoyed his occasional trip to the casinos. But without any doubt the thing Kevin loved most in life was his family. He cherished every moment he was able to spend with the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, are his daughters; Michelle Marcano and her husband Julio of Oakville, and Lisa O’Donnell and her partner, Jason Hall of Waterbury. He also leaves his brother, Neil O’Donnell and his spouse, Susan of Northfield and his grandchildren; Elixis Lawrence, Mariah Ocasio, Natalya O’Donnell, Tavares Anderson Jr, and Marcus Tollens as well as his great-grandchildren; Brooklynn Gray, Alaia Ocasio, and Summer Easley, his nieces Kristy Martinez and her husband Eric, and nephew Ray Agrinzone, his niece Jennifer Kromer and her husband Joseph and his great uncle, Pat. He also leaves other extended family members and many friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Deborah O’Donnell.
A Celebration to honor Kevin’s life, will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the American Legion Post 195, 62 Bunker Hill Rd. Watertown CT 06795. There are no calling hours.
