WATERBURY- Mr. Kevin Schock age 35 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at Waterbury Hospital on Monday, February 3, 2014.
Kevin was born October 9, 1978 in New Haven, CT the son of Mary (Bolton) Schock of Waterbury and the late Kenneth Schock of Shelton. Kevin was raised in the Waterbury area and was a graduate of Kaynor Technical High School and attended Naugatuck Valley Community College where he studied automotive technology. Kevin had worked for several years at Sears Automotive, loved animals and music and was a history buff. He will be remembered as having a heart of gold and will be sorely missed by his family and friends whom he adored spending time with, especially during the holidays.
Besides his mother Mary, Kevin is survived by his stepfather Afonso Leite of Waterbury, his brother, Matthew Schock of Stoughton, MA; his two sisters, Lynda Staffieri, of Waterbury, and Alicia Leite, of Newington, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friendss
Funeral services for Mr. Schock will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Eastside Memorial, A Casey Family Funeral Home and Tribute Center, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may visit with Kevin's family at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00am until the time of the service.
