THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF KRISTEN. L. HANLEY WHO PASSED AWAY UNEXPECTEDLY IN POMPANO BEACH FL

" I love you more than ALL the stars in the sky"

POMPANO BEACH FL - Kristen Leigh Hanley, age 37, of Pompano Beach FL, formerly of Waterbury, was raised by the angels into eternal life on April, 7, 2020 and now sits at the right hand of God our Father.

Kristen was born on September 10, 1982 in Waterbury CT, the daughter of Susan Hanley and her significant other, Anthony DeLucco of Middlebury and her Dad, the late Bruce Hanley, decorated officer of the Waterbury Police Dept (to whom Kristen yearned so deeply to know). Kristen's passion for life was the love she deeply held for her daughter, Felicity Galarneau. She had a love for dance and music and is now dancing to a peaceful tune in heaven. Her infectious laugh would make anyone join in laughter and her radiant smile would brighten anyone's day. Kristen thrived on inspiring others to have faith and hope through prayer, positivity and kindness. She would often say "kindness costs you nothing". She was a very giving person especially towards the poor and she would commonly go without so she could help the less fortunate. Kristen's major contribution to her life on earth was her big heart. When God called Kristen home, Kristen answered Him: "All I have is my heart to give" and God responded: "That is all I need".

Kristen continues her angelic work by shining her light upon those left on earth to watch over her daughter, Felicity Galarneau, her mother, Susan Hanley, Stepdad, Anthony DeLucco, and stepbrother, Anthony DeLucco Jr and family. Her Meme, Lina Hanley, Noni, Vincenza DeLucco and extremely large family, too large to mention individually, whom she loved very much. A "special light" will be shining now on all of her friends in recovery that she inspired daily and many others outside of the recovery community. Kristen is now re-united with her Dad, Officer Bruce Hanley of the Waterbury Police Dept. grandfathers; Edwin Swift and Adrian Hanley, Grandmother, June Swift, Uncle Gregory Swift, Uncle Steven Swift, cousin, Robert Metzger, Papa, John DeLucco and many other close family members and friends now celebrating life together. "Let us all Rejoice and be Glad"
