WATERTOWN - Kyle Marie Czarsty, age 55, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after a brief but courageous battle with breast cancer on November 28, 2016. She was the loving wife of Bryan Coppola, her soul mate.
Kyle was born in Waterbury, CT on February 7, 1961, the daughter of the late Dr. Joseph and Roberta (Byrnes) Czarsty. She graduated from Holy Cross High School and Springfield College with a Master's degree in education. Kyle was a grammar school teacher for Waterbury public schools for more than thirty years and cherished her fellow teachers. She enjoyed traveling especially to New Hampshire, Vermont and Ireland. Her passion for the New York Yankees and New York Giants was contagious as was her smile which would light up an entire room. She particularly enjoyed going to concerts, performances and listening to all forms of music.
Besides her husband, Bryan, she is survived by her son, Brandon Kinzly, her daughter, Connor Kinzly and her step children Neil and Sabryna Coppola as well as her three brothers, Dr. Craig Czarsty and his wife, Margaret, Curt Czarsty and his wife, Ashley, Keith Czarsty and his companion Lisa Greenwood and several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition, she leaves her best friend since childhood, Jean Bruzas Henry and her husband Jim.
A memorial gathering for Kyle will be on Tuesday, November 29, at O'Neill's Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville, CT 06779 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
