THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF LARRY CHARETTE

"Loving husband, father and grandfather"

WOLCOTT - Larry R. Charette, age 65, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.

Larry was born on January 30, 1957 in Waterbury. He was son of the late Patrick and Marie (DuBois) Charette. He graduated from Crosby High School and earned his certification in HVAC. He began his career with Bosse Brothers Oil Co. and then was self-employed and worked for several other area oil companies. Larry lived life to the fullest, blessed by his family and friends. He was very proud of the accomplishments of his children. Larry had a wonderful personality and enjoyed hunting in his younger years. He also enjoyed playing cards and watching action movies in his favorite chair with his dog, Bandit.

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his beloved wife Susan (Bosse) Charette of 36 years. His daughter Jessica and her husband, Christopher DiMichele, their two children Giovanna and Shane. His son, Paul, and his wife Samantha all of Wolcott. He also leaves his brother, James and his wife Rosemarie Charette of Harwinton. Larry also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and was predeceased by two sisters; Betty Favreau and Ruth Napoli.

Larry's family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation and acknowledge Dr. Testa of St. Francis Hospital and Dr. El Churi of St. Mary's Hospital for the compassionate care they showed to Larry.

The celebration of Larry's life will begin with calling hours on Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main Street at Southmayd Road in Waterbury. On Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 10:00 am family and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Michael's Church, 62 St. Michael's Dr. in Waterbury to celebrate a Mass. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
