WATERBURY -Larry Stallings, ag 63 of Waterbury, passed away on Thursday April 8, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a brief illness
Larry was born on November 16, 1957 in Suffolk, Virginia, the son of Loden Stallings and the late Ethel (White) Stallings. Larry moved to the Connecticut area as a young teenager and spent several years working through out the Waterbury area as a landscaper. He enjoyed fishing and was always happiest while spending time with his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor Larry's legacy and treasure his memories, besides his father, Loden are his children; Jamal Washington of Charlotte, NC, Terrance Stallings, Randy Stallings, and Syrether Wedderburn, and Darien Stallings all of Waterbury. He also leaves his siblings; Herman Stallings, Randy Stallings, Billy Stallings, Gennie Thompson, Geraldine West, Juanita Stalling, Carolyn Stallings, Michelle Stallings and step-sister Talisha Stallings all of Waterbury and his 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his children; Larry Stallings jr. and Shyra Stallings, his grandson Larry Stallings II and his brother, James Stallings.
Funeral services for Mr. Stallings will be held Friday, April 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 E. Main Street, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Larry's family on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00. We are all still very concerned about everyone's health and safety so all federal and state guidelines relative to COVID #19 will be observed but you can be assured of a safe, clean and comforting environment to express your support to the Stallings family.
