OAKVILLE- Laurence E. Seals Jr. age 63 of Oakville, CT, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a brief illness at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. He was the former husband of Tina (McMillian) Seals.
Laurence was born on October 26th 1953 in Dillon S.C., the son of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Rowell) Seals. He spent many years working as machine operator for Pratt and Whitney. He enjoyed spending time on the beach, jet skiing, hunting and fishing.
Among his survivors are his children, Laura Seals, Ashlie Seals, and Caitlin Seals of Oakville as well as his brothers, Harold Seals of Waterbury, and Robert Seals of SC in addition to his grandchildren, Isabella, Jayantii and Jackson.
A Memorial gathering for Mr. Seals will be held on Tuesday December 20th, 2016 at O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville from 10:00am until 12:00 pm. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
