THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF LAWRENCE LAMADELEINE
WOLCOTT - Lawrence A. "Larry" LaMadeleine, age 74 of Wolcott, passed away unexpectedly at St. Marys Hospital surrounded by his devoted wife, Rita and family. He was the husband of Rita (Brouillard) LaMadeleine.
Larry was born on October 5, 1943 in Waterbury, the son of the late Paul and Julienne (Gauthier) LaMadeleine. He was a graduate of Wilby High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a longtime employee of the Town of Wolcott. In his early days, he was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Larry loved the outdoors, especially winter sports, skiing, snowmobiling and hunting. His real passion in life was his family and being a "cowboy", all things western and so very proud of his horses. He will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. He was a parishioner of St Pius X Church in Wolcott.
Besides his wife Rita of 56 years, he is survived by his brothers; Norman (Judith) LaMadeleine and Robert (Linda) LaMadeleine both of Wolcott as well as his Aunt, Annette LaMadeleine and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Dennis and Mark LaMadeleine.
Funeral services for Mr. LaMadeleine will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X (St Basil the Great) Church, Woodtick Rd Wolcott CT at 10:00 a.m. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with full military honors will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Wolcott.
