NAUGATUCK - Leo W. Morin age 88 of Naugatuck passed away peacefully Monday June 26, 2017 at Glendale Rehabilitation Center surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after an extended illness. He was the husband of Mary (Quadrato) Morin.
Leo was born in Waterbury, CT on March 16, 1929 the son of the late Eugene and Claudia (Ouellette) Morin, he was one of 13 children. He was raised in Waterbury and spent many years working for the Naugatuck Borough of Education until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time outdoors but was always happiest while spending time with his family. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Besides his devoted wife, Mary of 64 years, Leo is survived by his son, Christopher Morin of Naugatuck and his brother, Ernest Morin of Indianapolis, IN in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Morin will be held at Bethel Baptist Church at a date and time to be announced. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd.
