WATERBURY – Leonard Patrick Kafchinski, age 58, of Watertown, CT, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2022, at Waterbury Hospital.
Leonard was born on January 14, 1964, in Waterbury, CT, to the late Leonard Frank and Patricia (Martin) Kafchinski. He graduated from Watertown High School and owned Harvest Landscaping for over 20 years. When Leonard was not working or spending time with family his passions were deep sea fishing and golfing. He also enjoyed taking in the scenic views while motorcycling with friends in Colorado. He was a member of the Waterbury Elks Club. Leonard was an amazing person all around and will be missed by those who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his siblings; Leon “Lee” Kafchinski and his wife, Elizabeth of Litchfield, Larry Kafchinski and his wife, Barbara of AL, Lynn Starks and her husband, Steve of KY, Lori Muni and her husband, John of FL, along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Leonard was predeceased not only by his parents but also
his sister Lisa Stack.
Graveside services for Leonard Kafchinski will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 10:30 am at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Everyone attending please meet directly at the cemetery.
