Ms. Leonor Pérez Torres 95, of Waterbury passed away peacefully at her home May 24, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 6, 1924 in Puerto Rico to the late Demensio Perez and Rosa Torres.
Leonor was educated throughout the Puerto Rico Public School System. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking Spanish cuisine for family. She loved watching her Spanish soap operas,crocheting and playing Bingo. For many years, She participated in events at the Spanish Council. Lenora had a high standard for fashion and always loved to put on her best outfits and look beautiful. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Leonor was a hard worker and always was a lending hand to those in need. She had a heart of Gold.
To cherish her memories she leaves behind her children; her daughters: Patria Muñoz,Irma Muñoz, Aida Muñoz,and Alicia Muñoz all of Waterbury, CT her sons Edgardo Muñoz, Manuel Muñoz, Of Waterbury. She will be truly missed by her grandchildren and host of family and friends.
She was predeceased by her two sons Cesar Munoz and Alexis Munoz.
Due to the current to governmental restrictions regarding the pandemic, only the immediate family will be permitted in the funeral home and at the graveside. Relatives and friends can assemble at the funeral home on Thursday, May 29, 2020 at 10:15 a.m. when a drive by presentation honoring Mrs. Perez Torres will be available followed by a procession to New Pine Grove Cemetery. All attendees should remain in their vehicle until instructed by funeral home staff. Please practice social distancing.
