WATERBURY- Leslie Ann (Colon) Poll, age 39, of Waterbury CT passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26th 2020 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of Saint Mary's surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Juan Poll.
Leslie was born July 30th 1980, the daughter of Lino and Lucila (Larriu) Colon. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and received her Associates Degree in Business Management from Porter and Chester Institute and spent several years working for Century Spring in Bristol as a Sales Representative. There was nothing more important to Leslie than her family. She could always be found on the sidelines of any of her children's sporting events, whether it is was soccer, softball, baseball, or basketball and was known as the "team Mom." She was a parishioner of Todos Los Santos Church where she was a member of the choir and sung with great pride with her father, Lino. Leslie will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to cherish her memory and honor her love and legacy besides her devoted husband of 15 years are her children; Jaylynn and Nathan Poll as well as her fur baby, Hudson. Besides her parents and her husband's parent's Deacon Alex and Judy Lopez of Oakville, she also leaves her maternal grandmother, Maria D. Garcia and her paternal grandmother, Sixta Colon, her twin brother, Lino Colon Jr and her sister, Dianna Colon as well as her nieces and nephews, Alex, Joshua, Luci, Vincent, Gianni, and Adrian. She also leaves many cousins, extended family members and many friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Poll will be held on Monday March 2nd 2020 at 10:00 am at Todos Los Santos parish, The Shrine of St Anne's Church those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Friends and relatives may visit with Leslie's family on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd.
