Devoted husband and father
SOUTHINGTON -
It is with profound sadness that the family of Lewis R. Horenstein, share the news of his peaceful passing, in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, his 76th birthday. He was the husband of Lucy (Ciarlo) Horenstein.
Lewis was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on March 26, 1949, the son of the late Herman and Shirley (Diner) Horenstein. Lewis was a quiet man who preferred the comfort of solitude. Though he didn't have a wide array of hobbies or interests, he approached life with a gentle demeanor and a steadfast presence that will be deeply missed by his family and those who knew him. Lewis dedicated his professional life to working as a Computer Operator in the retail industry, where his steady and reliable nature made him a valued colleague. Over the past few years, Lewis faced several health challenges, but his resilience in the face of adversity was truly inspiring.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Lucy Horenstein, and his cherished daughters, Emily and Alysha Horenstein. Their bond was a testament to the love and support that marked Lewis's life, and they will carry his memory in their hearts. Rest in peace, Lewis; your gentle soul will forever remain a part of us.
