PROSPECT- Lida M. (Carlson) Keroski, 89, formerly of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at home in Prospect with her family by her side. She was the former wife of the late Joseph Keroski.
Lida was born in Waterbury on April 5, 1932, the daughter of the late Carl H. and Ella (Marble) Carlson. She was a retired employee of Stop & Shop Grocery Store. Lida was devoted to her family and was an active member of Hopeville Church. She enjoyed bingo and activities at the Prospect Senior Center. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to cherish her memory and honor her legacy are her children; her son, Tom and his wife, Juanita Keroski of Thomaston, daughters; Janet Fortier and her husband, Ralph also of Thomaston, Susan Nash and her husband, Norm of Venice, FL, Nancy and her husband, Brian Callahan with whom she resided in Prospect, Jackie and her husband, Dennis Giroux of St. Augustine, FL, her brother, Carl Carlson II and his wife, Roseanne of Marlborough, CT, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a great, great grandson and well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Keroski will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. in Hopeville Church 160 Piedmont St. Waterbury, followed by burial in All Saints Cemetery.
