THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF LIDIA ANELLO
Lidia (Capuano) Anello, daughter of the late Gaetano & Maria Felice Capuano, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Mother's Day, May 10, 2020 at the age of 82, where she was last living in Watertown CT.
In addition to her parents, Lidia was preceded in death by her loving husband Pietro Anello, and her brother Giuseppe and his wife Blandina Capuano.
Lidia is survived by her 3 children, her son Gianpietro Anello and wife Elisa, son Fabio Anello and wife Jolene, and her daughter Simona and husband Brian Milks.
She is also survived by her sister Esther and husband Martino Soldi, her brother Antonio and wife Maria Capuano, and her sister Filomena and husband Nicola DePalo.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, John Anello, Lydia Rojas, Gabrielle Anello, Katia Anello, Christopher Milks, Andrew Milks and Timothy Milks. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Rojas, Sophia Rojas, and Enzo Anello.
Lidia was born in Italy, Cervinara (Avellino) near Naples, on January 8, 1938. In 1977 she resided in Middlebury CT, until her last several years where she was cared and loved by the staff at the Apple Rehab Center in Watertown CT.
She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, hospitality, her joy and passion for gardening, cooking, and going to the beach. She loved to attend church and put her trust and faith in her savior, Jesus Christ.
A private burial took place Tuesday, May 12, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. Arrangements were by O'Neill Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place in the near future to honor and celebrate her life.
