OAKVILLE - Linda M. Battick, age 74 of Oakville CT passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Monday, August 17, 2020. She was the widow of Phillip (Midge) Battick
Linda was born on December 2, 1945 in Waterbury the daughter of the late George and Anna (King) Boivin. She was educated in the Watertown School System and graduated from Watertown High School. She worked for many years at Uniroyal in Naugatuck and then at Winchester Electronics in Watertown. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan as well as UCONN Womens Basketball. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles and she will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her love and memory, are her four brothers; Roger (Sharon) Boivin of West Palm Beach FL, Ronald Boivin Sr. of Oakville with whom she made her home, Donald Boivin Sr of Myrtle Beach SC and Dennis (Fran) Boivin of Largo FL, her sister Nancy (William) Oliver of Watertown and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers; George Boivin and Arthur Boivin Sr. and her sister, Joanne Charette.
Funeral services for Mrs Battick will be held privately at the convenience of her family. The O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville CT has been honored to assist her family with arrangements.
