These jobs gave her the opportunity to tour in China, Japan and all over Europe, living with her sister, Carol Laferriere between assignments. Linda also worked to the State of CT as well as a short stint at John Hopkins in Bethesda Maryland where her symptoms overtook her energy and then she subsequently "retired".
Besides her mother Anne she leaves two daughters, Anna Tabke and her husband, Simon of Atlanta GA and Rebecca Werts and her husband, Dan of Maine. Her sisters, Carol Ann Laferriere and Robin Flanagan and her husband, Bill both of Waterbury and her brother, Donn Swift and his wife, Nancy of Cheshire. Linda's family would like to thank the wonderful family she became part of at the Cheshire House. The staff there cared for her and helped enrich her suddenly limited life by enhancing every day with smiles and tender, loving care.
