WATERTOWN - Linda J. (Atwood) Sheldrick age 63 of Watertown died unexpectedly September 4, 2014 at Saint Mary's Hospital. She was the wife of Richard J. Sheldrick.
Linda was born August 17, 1951 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Robert and Arlene (Lucien) Atwood and lived in Oakville and Watertown for over 40 years. She was a graduate of Crosby High School. Linda was a devoted wife and mother and especially enjoyed doting on her two grandchildren.
Besides her husband of 42 years of Watertown, she leaves a son Scott Sheldrick of Watertown, a daughter Kerry Caviasca and her husband Aaron of Watertown, two brothers Robert Atwood of Colorado, Raymond Atwood of Florida, two sisters Karen Atwood of Florida, Arlene Moskaluk of Watertown, two grandchildren Jacob and Lauryn, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours. Linda last gift was to donate her body to the New England Organ Bank to assist others in need. She will live on in others through this selfless gift. The O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville has been entrusted to assist her family with arrangements.
