LISA (DEMIRS) CARROLL
WATERBURY- Lisa (Demirs) Carroll age 37 of Oronoke Road died Friday evening at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness. She was the former wife of William Carroll.
Lisa was born March 2, 1971 in Waterbury a daughter of Robert F. and Francine (Butler) Demirs and had lived in Waterbury for the past 15 years. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and earned her degree in respiratory therapy from the former Mattatuck Community College. Lisa had worked as a respiratory therapist in the Waterbury area for several years and enjoyed traveling, music, flowers, the beach and spending time with her many friends. She was a member of the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Besides her parents of Oakville, she leaves a sister Christina Demirs of Waterbury, a brother Ryan Demirs and his fiancée Michelle Young of Waterbury, a nephew Tyler Demirs of Waterbury, her maternal grandparents James and Alice (Wolfe) Butler of Oakville and many friends and extended family and her cats Jake and Olivia.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday August 27 at 10 a.m. in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. Friends may call at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Animals for Life P.O. Box 7, South Britain CT 06487.
