WATERTOWN CT - Lisa Mary Fruin of Watertown passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at her home. Lisa was born on September 4, 1964 to the late William Fruin and Joan (Ostroski) Boccuzzi of Spring Hill, Florida. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and Mattatuck Community College.
Lisa worked as a paralegal at BoneeWeintraub LLC in West Hartford.
Lisa was a kind hearted and loving person who enjoyed being with family and friends, sporting events, reading, yoga and riding her Peloton bike. She had a passion for acting and performed at local theaters often starring in the leading roles. She was an avid Red Sox fan. In her younger days at Naugatuck High School she was on the gymnastics team and excelled on the uneven parallel bars.
Lisa is survived by her mom Joan Boccuzzi, her maternal grandmother Mary Ostroski, her sons Nicholas J. Fruin and William H. Searles, and her sister Lauren (Fruin) Tiscia and husband Ron, nephew Michael Tiscia, and her loving boyfriend Gary Duquette as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family members and friends. .
Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 11:00 to12:30 at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury for a WALK THROUGH VISITATION ONLY.
