AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
NAUGATUCK, CT Lois G. Fortin, 75, of 300 Wedgewood Drive, widow of Leonard J. Fortin, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Waterbury Hospital.
Mrs. Fortin was born December 31, 1934 in Mahanoy City, PA a daughter of the late Maurice and Florence (Weber) Thomas and had lived in Naugatuck most of her life. She was a retired Inspector at the Naugatuck Glass Company and was a member of the Congregational Church of Naugatuck.
Mrs. Fortin is survived by 3 sons, James E. Fortin of Newington, CT, Robert L. Fortin of Naugatuck, CT and Richard W. Fortin of Boulder, CO, a daughter, Lois A. Fortin of Naugatuck, CT, a brother Robert Thomas of South River, NJ, a sister Arlene Quick of Mahanoy City, PA, 4 grandchildren Robert Fortin, Michael Fortin, Jennifer Fortin and Renee Fortin, 3 great grandchildren, Breah Fortin, Ryah Fortin and Vincent Fortin and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fortin was pre-deceased by a great grandson Michael Fortin, Jr.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 6, 2010 at 10:00am at The Congregational Church of Naugatuck, 1 Division Street. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Sunday from 5-8pm at The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home, 1581 East Main Street, Waterbury.
