AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME: Oakville CT ?" Mr. Louis D. Juliano, age 85, of Falls Ave. Oakville, died Thursday at his home with his loving family at his side after an extended illness. He was the husband of Aurelia (Murino) Juliano.
Louis was born in Waterbury CT on February 18,1923 the son of the late Pellegrino and Rose (Campobasso) Juliano. He was educated in the local school system and was a veteran of the US Navy having proudly served his country during World War II. He was employed as a Safety Inspector at Chase Metal Works, Waterbury for many years, following his retirement he was a Building Porter at Waterbury Hospital. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 7330, Oakville and a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Oakville.
Besides his wife of 60 years, Louis leaves a son, Louis A. Juliano DDS, of Watertown, three sisters, Lucille Ferrari of Watertown, Rosemarie St. Denis and Florence Ciallela both of Thomaston and two loving grandchildren, Andrea and Jared Juliano. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Juliano will be held on Monday July 7, 2008 at 8:00am from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St. Oakville to St. Mary Magdalen Church, Buckingham St Oakville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-7pm.
