Loving Father, Grandfather, and Brother
WATERTOWN - Louis Quadrato Sr., age 72, of Watertown, passed away peacefully and entered his final resting place with our Father in Heaven on Monday, May 6, 2024, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
Louis was born November 10th, 1951, in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Frank Michael and Betty Jane (Bradshaw) Quadrato. He was a lifelong Watertown resident and was a graduate of Watertown High School class of 1969. Lou spent many years working in the manufacturing industry working for several companies. He retired as a night supervisor at Eyelet Toolmakers. Lou enjoyed fishing, camping, playing billiards, darts, and bowling. He was an avid New York Yankees fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed making things in his home woodworking shop. Lou will be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help others in need. His greatest gift was being a loving and caring father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his memory and cherish his legacy are his children, Louis Quadrato Jr and his wife, Jill of Woodbury, his daughter Lisa Dubuque Quadrato of Ohio, as well as his brother, Steven Quadrato and his wife, Robin. Lou was blessed with five grandchildren: Dillon, Derek, Colton, Cian and Kiera. He also leaves his sister-in-law, Margaret Quadrato, his stepmother Beverly (Hallock)Quadrato, many cousins, nieces, nephews , other extended family members, and many friends. He was predeceased by his brothers; Frank Jr, Dave, Gary, and Glen Quadrato.
A Memorial Gathering for Mr. Quadrato will be held on Monday, May 13 2024, at 6:45pm at Casey O’Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St Oakville, CT 06779. Relatives and friends may visit with the Quadrato family on Monday from 5:00 pm until the service at 6:45pm. Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, at 10:00am at Evergreen Cemetery North St Watertown. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
