Devoted Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother
WATERBURY- Lucille (Lavorgna) Czarsty, 86, passed away peacefully at Autumn Lake Health Care on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
Born in Waterbury on November 27, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Rose (Vastola) Lavorgna. After graduating from Wilby High School, she worked in banking as a teller at American Savings. She left the banking industry to become a housewife and mother. After raising her children, she worked for LSM Manufacturing until she retired. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who always put her family first.
Left to honor her memory and carry on her loving legacy are her children Susan, Donna and David with his wife Dee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Allyson (Stephen) Blythe (James), Dayton, Danelle, Heather, Kellie and Eric. She also had five great grandchildren Madison, Cassidy, Aubrey, Troy Jr, and Gianna, and two sisters, Mary Rubano and Carol Mongelluzo along with several nieces and nephews. Lucille was predeceased by her daughter Pamela Czarsty and son-in-law Joseph Blondeau.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday June 6, 2023 in Old Calvary Cemetery at 11:15 am. Relatives and friends may visit with Lucille’s family on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 am at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St. Waterbury.
