Waterbury ?" Mrs. Lucille (Del Negro) Stack ?" age 69 of Brookdale Lane passed away peacefully on April 30th 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness. She was the wife of Donald Stack.
Lucille was born September 19th, 1939 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late Anthony & Vincenza (Sergi) DelNegro. She attended local grammar school and was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School.
Mrs. Stack retired from CL&P after 38 years of service. She was a very thoughtful, kind, and loving person. She especially loved going to the beach house in Delaware, playing cards with her family, reading, working on puzzles, and drinking cappuccino.
Besides her devoted husband Donald of 34 years, Lucille is survived by a daughter Donna Caiazzo and her husband Peter of Middlebury, sons' Mark and David Stack of Waterbury, her sister Laura Martin and her husband August of Waterbury, her brother Anthony DelNegro and his wife Jackie of Middlebury, her four precious grandchildren, one great-great nephew, many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and an uncle.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stack will be held on Monday May 4th, 2009 at The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception 74 West Main St. Waterbury at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at church. There are no calling hours.
