PLANTSVILLE - Luis Santana age 56 of Plantsville passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 24th 2016 after a tragic accident.
Luis was born December 15th 1959 in Puerto Rico the son of the late Juan Maria Santana and cristina Alicea. He was a devoted husband, and father who loved life and had a hard working ethic. Luis loved to fix and repair things and had the ability to repair just about anything. He enjoyed fishing, music, and building things and always enjoyed D.Jing at parties for his friends and family which is something he has done since his youth.
Among his survivors are his daughter Miranda Marshall Santana with whom he made his home. His former wife Marie Marshall of Plantsville, his step daughter Connie Marshall his grandson Payton Marshall, his sister in-law Elaine Kilgore, as well as several brothers and sisters in addition to many extended family members and friends including his favorite niece and nephew Melinda and Ernest Santana and his godson George Carrion and his beloved furry child "Sasha".
Funeral services for Mr. Santana will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may visit with Luis's family on Saturday October 29th 2016 at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St Waterbury from 2:00 ~ 4:00 pm.
