THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF LYNN ARMINGTON
WATERBURY - Lynn Armington (Rizzuti), age 54, of West Hartford, CT passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2022. She was the relentlessly caring and endlessly loving mother of Danielle and Jessica Place and the devoted Gram Gram to Roman Moore.
Lynn was born July 12, 1967 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of Robert Rizzuti and Jean Clark. She was a graduate of Notre Dam Academy in Waterbury, CT. Lynn eventually began a career in restaurant management, quickly becoming a force in the field. She leaves behind the general manager position at Rizzuto's Restaurant and Bar in West Hartford, CT where she will be greatly missed by current and former employees, as well as many regular customers who considered her like family.
Lynn was always fashionably late, but was the life of the party once she arrived. She was an amazing cook, and she will be remembered for her legendary meatballs. She was an avid Giants and Yankees fan, sporting their jerseys and cheering along throughout their respective seasons. Most importantly, Lynn was a mother and a grandmother. Her daughters and grandson were the most important things to her, and she would have done absolutely anything for them. And lastly, Lynn was also the loving mother to her cat Lola, who predeceased her.
In addition to her daughters and grandson and her mother and father, she leaves behind mother Patricia Rizzuti, son in law Sterling Moore, sister Roberta Brodesser, brother Robert Rizzuti, brother in law Heinz Brodesser, sister in law Julie Rizzuti, niece Shannon Caron and her husband Nathan, niece Samantha Spontak and her husband Christopher, nephews Teddy Swenor and Robert Rizzuti, niece Isabelle Rizzuti, great nieces Audrey Powers and Kennedy Caron, and her best friend Stephanie Torres, as well as many other dear family and friends.
A memorial gathering for Ms. Armington will be held on Wednesday March 30th 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation 1987 East Main Street @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury, Burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family .
