THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF MADELINE (PERREAULT) NOLAN
WATERBURY - Madeline (Perreault) Nolan age 77 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on October 14, 2019 after a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of George Thomas Nolan.
Madeline was born June 21, 1942 in Eagle Lake Maine, the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Pelletier) Perreault, one of 14 children. . She graduated from Fort Kent High School and was a retired bookkeeper and office manager. Madeline loved to cook for her family and crochet. An avid reader, she was especially fond of a good mystery. She will also be heartily missed by her cat, Lacey. Her last wish was that everyone go out and have ice cream in her honor. Life is short, enjoy the sweetness with cherries on top. She was a parishioner of St Leo the Great Church. Madeline will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Filled with love for her large family, Madeline is survived by her husband of 57 years, George Thomas Nolan, III, of Waterbury, daughters; Katherine O. Riess and her husband, Michael of Bethlehem PA, Judith Valerio and her husband, Richard of New Britain CT, and Susan Budziszewski and her husband, Gregory of Durham NC, her grandchildren, a.k.a. "Nana's Angels"; Grania Maire Riess-Kenney and her husband, Justin, Natalie Jane Riess and her partner, Sara Goetter, Athena Rae Valerio, Elizabeth Valerio, Seth Nolan Budziszewski, Joseph Egan Budziszewski and Collin George Budziszewski. She also leaves her brother, Paul Perreault, sisters, Elaine Marin and Doris Pelletier, and several beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nolan will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, St Leo the Great Church, 14 Bentwood Dr. Waterbury CT at 10:00 a.m. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. To honor Madeline's memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seasons Hospice, 1570 Straits Turnpike Middlebury CT 06762,
