THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF MADELINE REDING
Madeline D. Reding of Middlebury, CT died peacefully on August 2, 2018 at the age of 55 after her valiant battle with cancer.
Madeline is survived by her husband, Bruce and her two daughters: Jamie Lynn Lorusso and her husband Daniel Lorusso of Bristol, CT and Rachel Leigh Reding of Middlebury, CT. Along with her husband and children, Madeline leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and many life-long friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Delores.
Madeline was born in Bridgeport, CT on June 4, 1963 to Dolores (Perreira) DeStefano and John DeStefano. Madeline attended Seymour High School and graduated in 1982. On March 1, 1985, she married Bruce, her best friend and high school sweetheart. On September 13, 1988 and May 4, 1992, she welcomed her two daughters who were the most important part of her life.
Madeline was a devoted mother and she loved the outdoors. She enjoyed being anywhere near the ocean and all of her family vacations reflected that. She also attended college late in life and was a LPN for many years. She was a very loving, caring woman and had one of the biggest hearts ever imaginable. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know such a woman.
A funeral service is scheduled for August 18th at 10:00 am at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 25 Great Hill Road, Oxford, CT. Food and drinks will be served at Rose's Restaurant, 35 Old State Rd 67, Oxford, CT 06478
