WATERBURY - Margaret H. Jennett, age 64, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 with her son by her side at St. Mary's Hospital.
Margaret was born on March 4, 1957 in Waterbury CT, the daughter of the late Helen Jennett and late James Cowan. She graduated from Wilby High School and worked for many years as a Certified Nurse's Aide. Margaret raised a loyal and hardworking son and loved her grandchildren with all of her heart. Margaret enjoyed cooking, especially around the holidays when she would make her specialties - beef short ribs, collard greens, and potato salad.
Left to cherish her memories and honor her legacy are her son, Gordon, his wife Debra, and their two children; Riley and Ethan, of Wolcott. She also leaves s brother, Clifford Hunter and a sister, Dessie Davis.
Funeral services for Ms. Jennett will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may visit with the Jennett family on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
