Margaret Silva - age 79 of Union Street Waterbury died Wednesday November 21, 2007 at Saint Mary's Hospital, She was the wife of Maurice Silva.
Mrs. Silva was born October 26th 1928 in Bristol CT. the daughter of the late James & Eleanor (Leighton) Howell. She was a graduate of Terryville High School and Post Junior College. She worked for many years as an insurance agent and enjoyed traveling with her husband, photography, and painting.
Besides her husband she is survived by her son Brian Haney of North Carolina, a step-son Joseph Silva of Texas, a step-daughter Maureen Monk of Texas; two sisters Edith Speilman of Terryville, and Laura Amato of Florida, and 10 grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by a son Craig Haney.
