Waterbury- Mrs. Margaret (Flynn) Sugden, age 92 of Waterbury, passed away on December 26, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Sugden Sr.
Margaret was born October 19, 1924 in Naugatuck CT, the daughter of the late Edward G. and Margaret (Broder) Flynn. She graduated from Sacred Heart Grammar School, and Wilby High School. Margaret spent many years working in the clerical department of Timex until her retirement in 1987. She was a parishioner of Saints Peter & Paul Church.
She is survived by her son, Richard Sugden Jr. of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Edward and James Flynn.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Sugden will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. directly at Saints Peter & Paul Church in Waterbury. Margaret's wishes were to omit calling hours. Interment will follow in New Saint Joseph Cemetery.
