THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF MARGUERITE M. MORAN

WATERBURY -Marguerite M. Moran age 97, of Cheshire, formerly of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday December 30th 2020 after a brief illness. She was the widow of John T. Moran.

Marguerite was born on January 1, 1923 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late William and Marguerite M. (Doyle) McKenna. Marguerite was a graduate of Crosby High School and worked as a Benefits Manager for the former Lux Clock company for a short time until she became a mother and dedicated her life to her family and home. Marguerite was an animal lover and enjoyed feeding the local squirrels and birds and was always happy to pet any friendly dog that she might encounter . She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and always looked forward to taking trips with her family, especially to the casino. She was a former parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Parish. Marguerite will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to honor Marguerite's love and legacy is her son, John Moran and his wife, Mary of Plainville, CT. She is predeceased her siblings; Robert McKenna, Betty Geigle and Maureen Corcoran.

Funeral services for Mrs. Moran will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT 06705.All requirements regarding COVID #19 will be strictly enforced. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Moran will be scheduled at Mary Mother of the Church, SS Peter and Paul at a later date.
