THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF MARIA FELICE CIPRIANO
"Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother"
WATERBURY -Maria Felice (Flammia) Cipriano age 92 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Sunday October 24, 2021 at the Apple Rehab Center in Watertown. She was the wife of Virgilio Cipriano.
Maria was born on December 27, 1928 in Frigento Italy the daughter of the late Gennaro and Antoinetta
Abbondandolo Flammia. She worked for many years as a seamstress in the garment industry. What was most important to Maria in her life was children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was happiest when they were all together. Maria loved gardening, cooking and preparing an abundance of food to make sure her family was always fed even during her final days of life she was offering food to her family. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Maria's family would like to thank and acknowledge the staff at Apple Rehabilitation, her roommate Sue and her family for the kindness, care love and support shared with Maria and her family during her stay.
Besides her husband of 70 years, she leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Giovannina and her husband Giovanni Calo of Waterbury, her two sons, Rocco Cipriano and his wife Victoria of Wolcott and Nunzio Cipriano and his wife Joann of Watertown, her beloved grandchildren; Carmine Calo and his wife, Stephanie, Luisa Calo, Melissa Cipriano, Rocco Cipriano, Stephanie Seitlinger and her husband Wayne, Nunzio Cipriano and Alexandria Cipriano. Maria also leaves her great grandchildren; Gianna Cipriano, Valentino Calo, Jovanna Calo, Nico Seitlinger, Julian Seitlinger, and Giovanni Sinotte as well as her sister, Giuseppina Flammia of Italy and brother, Francesco Flammia of Brazil. She was predeceased by her brothers, Mario Flammia and Samuele Flammia and sisters; Rosina Flammia and Annina Flammia.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Cipriano will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, SS Peter & Paul Church 67 Southmayd Rd Waterbury CT. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Maria's family on Tuesday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury. We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.
