CHESHIRE - Mrs. Maria Rosa Vega, age 86, formerly of Waterbury, passed away at the Highlands Health Care Center in Cheshire on Monday August 25th 2014 surrounded by love and comfort of her family.
Maria was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and was a member of Smirna Misionera Pentecostal Church in Waterbury.
She is survived by 8 children, several brothers and sisters as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren..
Funeral services for Mrs. Vega will be held on Friday, August 29th, 2014 at 11:00am at Eastside Memorial, "A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center" 1987 East Main St. Waterbury. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Maria's family at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00am until the time of the service.
