WEST PALM BEACH, FL - Mrs. Marian A. Lanosa, age 85 of West Palm Beach, FL and Wolcott, CT passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Sunday, November 8th, 2015 after a brief illness. She was the widow of Frank Charles Lanosa Sr.

Marian was born January 22nd, 1930 in Manhattan, NY the daughter of the late Frederick and Marian (Fiore) Salvador. She was a graduate of Manhattan High School and attended Mabel Dean Bacon School of Design where she studied interior design. Prior to becoming a loving and dedicated homemaker Marian studied at the Metropolitan Opera House and was a professional opera singer for several years. The most important thing to Marian was her family. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren and was always happiest while being surrounded by them.

Among her survivors, are her children, Maria Elena Barilla, and her husband, Ralph of West Palm Beach, FL. Fred C. Lanosa, and his wife, Sherry of Wellington, FL. Edith Lanosa Sawtelle, and her husband, Stephen of Cheshire, CT and Frank C. Lanosa Jr and his wife, Patricia of West Palm, Beach, FL in addition to her 12 grandchildren, Ralph Barilla, David Barilla, Erica Lanosa Schneidenbach, Michael Lanosa, Jennifer Lanosa, Jessica Fifield, George Fifield, Christy Pagoni, Bill Pagoni Jr., Frankie Lanosa III, Juliana Lanosa, Parker Lanosa, and 3 great grandchildren, Aubrey Lanosa, Presley Schneidenbach, and Hudson Barilla, also many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lanosa will be held on Thursday, November 12th, 2015 at 9:15am from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St Waterbury to New Life Christian Church, 289 Chestnut Hill Ave, Waterbury, CT 06704. Where a service will be held at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery Watertown. Relatives and Friends of Mrs. Lanosa may visit with her family on Wednesday, November 11th from 5:00 ~ 8:00pm and Thursday morning from 8:00 ~ 9:00am at the funeral home. A memorial service for friends and family in the Florida area will be announced at a later date.
