WATERTOWN - Marian (Longo) Masi age 89 of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Nicholas Masi.
Marian was born on October 23, 1927 in Oakville CT, the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Spino) Longo. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and was a lifelong resident of Oakville/Watertown. Marian was an avid golfer and was always happiest when spending time with her family. She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Watertown.
Marian is survived by her sons; Jeff Masi of Freemont CA and Nicholas Masi of Watertown, her grandchildren, Vanessa, Jayson, Jeremy and Jason and great grandchildren, Francesca, Charles, Emelio and Viviana as well as her brother, Paul Longo of Fredericksburg VA. She was predeceased by her sisters, Laureta Zibell, Agnes Creddo and Elizabeth Grosso.
Funeral services for Mrs. Masi will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church 585 Main St Watertown CT at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Family and friends are invited to stop by the church before mass to express their condolences.
